Your a star
Only problem is i'm going to sit here half the day looking at it now.
My mrs and my mate that went to see it and bought it for me, are off to pick it up tomorrow as i'm out in croatia and iv'e not seen it in the flesh and won't for 3 weeks
Paid the full asking price, but worth it with the Ap's and the ppp saw one on a 53 more miles no ppp and standard brakes go for £3850, so a steal at 4k.
And i really love black and the sti rear spoiler
I'm quite excited, might see if i can put the type r running gear on it, dccd and short ratio box newage waggon running 350 bhp

Nice pics, keep us updated of your mods.. mine just ran 276bhp on rolling road last week, planning VF34 etc etc and hoping for 330bhp.. just looking at your side on pic, it sits high at the front as does mine! recently fitted STI suspension all round and it still sits high at front lol

I don't have any plans that are set in stone as yet, the thing is i have a type r that i have put the best part of 20k into and every time i drive it something goes wrong, and i don't cane it, so just going to try and make use of things like clutch, flywheel, turbo, gauges, ect, ect, and have a usefull daily driver as opposed to an expensive weekend toy, i always said if i ever went back to a new age it would be a wrx wagon as i think it's hands down the best allround subaru money can buy.
As for the suspension, i like the not so hard pothole friendly wrx suzy, ok it has it's limitations, but i don't intend to track it.
My mate just put coil overs on his 360bhp wrx and went for the softest he could find,Eibach i think but still thinks they are too harsh on the softest setting and when he drove my wrx said he much prefers the ride, and considering most of the time is spent in traffic not sure i want firmer suzy just for the odd spirited drive.
How does the sti suspension compare to the wrx.

I'm not a fan of coilovers for road use. Fixed perch just works much better (unless going silly money on coilovers), giving a more organic connection, full of dynamic feedback when being worked
You could always add a cheeky rear arb to your new wagon - be rude not to

Yep handling will be the first thing i actually spend money on,as it's the most cost effective gains against mods cost that can be made to a car imho, my old wrx saloon, which is the one i mention above that my mate has was transformed by drop links alk and geo, and my anti-roll bar ect on the type r did the same, so that lot is on the shopping list, just need to see how much of what i have is transferable, and whats not will be sold to fund the new parts for the wagon
