Shetland near Aberdeen? Thats like saying Manchester is round the corner from London

 

There's quite a few of us about from the Aberdeen area, but all the local stuff, meets etc. is usually done on our local Aberdeen Scoobies forum.

 

Westhill..... thats slightly closer than shetland

Thats the one you need. To see the forums just join up paid up members get to sell stuff i think. I'm a member on there not a paid up one though. I've just moved to Westhill this month from Kinloss so i'm still getting to know the area. Hopefully there'll be a meet soon

i think it would be good for us to join the group coz we all live in the same area
and we all have scoobs in common.
and i think it would be a good laugh.

just trying to form a group for people from the north east mate
i think it would be good to have somewhere on scoobynet
for local lads to to come and have a chat.
probbably after new year we could organise meets and stuff like that
also my friend is a member of the evo owners club and they not long ago
organised with wallace performance a dyno day so the they all got there
evos rolling roaded at a discount because there was a group of them
so maybe if there is a few of us i could get in contact with wallace performance after new year and ask to see if we could get something similar.
also i am open to suggestions aswell bud.
after the new year if people are up for doing things like going down to
crail race track that would be cool aswell.

 

All of this kind of thing and more is already covered and ran by Aberdeen Scoobies mate :thumbup:

 

not to be cheeky here mate i had a look on aberdeen scoobies
and its a nice little club but if i am being honest here i much prefered
scoobynet theres is alot more people here by the looks of things maybe
not from aberdeenshire but overall mate.
and if aberdeen scoobies have all that then fine good on em
all i am trying to do here is meet new friends with similar interest's
that i can talk to and have a part on this site where all the local lads
can come and have a chat.
i am not trying to create something groundbreaking here all i am
trying to do is meet new people am i wrong in trying to do that?

I think allsop's point is, how many forums do you need? There are already far too many.

 

i knew what allsop83 point was bud.
but as i said i am just trying to meet new people on THIS site mate
not aberdeen scoobys and if there was a group on THIS site already
from aberdeen i would ask to join because i like it on scoobynet.
i had a look on aberdeen scoobies and it was very nice but as i was saying
perviously i like it here.
if you are not interested in a group on this site thats fine dont join and i wish all the best to you.
i am relitvly new to forums and scoobynet is the only one i have taken a interest in
you cant blame me for trying to make new friends on this site
after all is that not what scoobynet is all about.

I wasnt having a go mate! Just the Scottish section on here is very quiet and there is the Scottish section on Sidc and also scottishscoobies as well. I wish you all the best with your idea.

Yes you are, there is already a club up here specifically for that.

All the people from AberdeenScoobies are on here and there is alot 'not' on here, So your going to be meeting less people starting up another club/group/forum or what ever it is on here.

please specify what is wrong with me trying to form a small friends group on this site.
group being something similar to a friends list.
i am most certainly not trying to form some club!
just try to have some friends to talk to when visiting this site
as i am not really on the other forums and not to sound disrespectfull
i dont want to be.
to be honest here why would you even care if i am trying to
start a small friends group on here anyway.
if you dont like it you dont need to be a part of the friends group
its a free country.
i am sorry if i struck a nerve or stood on yours or someone elses toes
in some way shape or form
because I AM NOT TRYING TO DO THAT and as for there
is another club specificly for that i didnt even know there was one
when i started this thread.
