Default Re-mapping for mpg?

Just wondered if anyone has re-mapped for mpg and how much more mpg they've managed to get. I'm moving house in a few months and will be further from work so thinking of ways to cut the cost of travel

Cheers

Economy is pretty much controlled by your right foot regardless of your map

a proper remap will get better mpg just nocking around, dont use your right foot and you'll see an improvement

underfueling and a heavy right foot, not a good combo mine mapped safe = rich
I bought a diesel for work, only way im going to get decent mpg lol but a remap on a scoob should see better mpg over standard just driving off boost more.

You can map it on 95 ron you will loose 15/20 bhp and save about 10p per litre or what ever the difference is these days i'm not in uk so don't know the price of vpower as compaired to shell 95 ron.

I run two maps on my simtec one is vpower and the other is 95ron and the difference is 17bhp but it's a low boost map as well..

But thats because i'm not able to get vpower here in croatia so for the second map i use 100 sul here

dont forget that a spend of £500 or so on a re-map will take quite a while to get back at 3 mpg

place a house brick behind the peddle that will help

Buy cheap diesel dog for price of remap? old pug 206 or something. Save scooby for weekend use.
