^^^^ +1 It's just too much, and i'm not really a big fan of the wide body just looks wierd in the flesh, much prefer the lines of a type r, and saw one for £4k the other day, and after spending another £33K that would be some machine..

If its as good as the advert says it is then its worth every penny, and someone WILL pay that for it. It's such an iconic car, it's a car thousands watched on tele and dreamed of owning, it's a car looked upon by enthusiasts as the ultimate Impreza and most importantly of all it virtually brand new. 7000 miles, it's hardly been run in.

I'll give you an example -
The guy I work with purchased a 57 plate Focus ST earlier this year. He paid over 13K for it. Yes 13K, (you can pick them up for almost half that).
Why you ask.
It had only done 4000 miles from new.

My point is people will pay well over the odds for uber low mileage cars. The 22B above is more than likely no better to drive or admire than one that has covered 5x as many miles but find another one with 7K.

I'm a Impreza fan/enthusiast and if I was having a mid life crisis with a few extra pound notes to burn, I'd buy it.

Agreed, 10K's worth of P1 would be stunning in everyway. But within a month of driving it you would of seen a handful of others.
You pay for rarity as well as crazy low mileage.

I would suggest its a little overpriced based on what he's asking for the rest of his stock,£5995 for a 52 plate wrx for example. If i was spending £37000 a low mileage gtr would be my choice of course. But a gtr will depreciate badly, the 22b is an investment if you like polishing and admiring rather than driving it like it was intended to be.

I'd take that over the 22b any day. I really don't see what all the fuss is with them.

Impreza is my number 1 car but if I could afford £37k on a car it goes on my number 2 car,

http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/3431121.htm

a car isnt an investment a deposit on a house is an investment.

For 37k i would be looking at a cl63 merc, a Gt-r or a ferrari 360.

But would you pull over for a look if you saw a GTR-360-cl63 parked up.
I know I wouldn't.
If on the other hand it was a 22B parked up my Porsche brakes would be put to good use.

It doesn't handle as well as a GTR, and it's not even in the same league performance wise as the cars above but that's not the point of a 22B.
What's a 7000 mile Intergrale evo2 worth......30K+ easy......

Its personal choice.

You go to a Japanese car meet you probably get more people interested in a GTR than a 22B.

You go to a Subaru specific car meet and the 22B steals the show.
