Help needed from some Scoobynetters
As some may have read, myself and Paypal have been having some issues recently. We are on the shortlist to appear on the Jeremy Kyle show to see if we can sort out our differences by shouting at each other but thats a different matter.
My account was limited last week and a hold placed on my funds for 180 days. The only thing I can do with my account is refund payments made to me.
Im thinking that I could refund some buyers who have bought parts off me and had them delivered already then have them repay the money back into my merchant account?
The risk is that I might never see some of the refunded cash again
I could wait the 6 months and withdraw it but the fact that Paypal are earning interest off my money boils my pi$$
Obviously Id need the help and co-operation of some of my buyers from Scoobynet.
Id be interested to hear what others would do?

Feel for you chap. Had similar problems years ago when shipping parts to the US/Canada and gave up on it in the end as the hassle wasnt worth it.
I've heard there are other ways to do transactions but havent ever looked into it. Someone mentioned Google Checkout as a way forward but i'm not sure what it involves.
Personally, i'd look at the people you've traded with and make a judgement on wether you can trust them to refund/repay the payments. If you have customers with a low post count or limited activity i'd avoid those and go for people more established in the community.
Good luck chap.

Can't see how they are legally allowed to do any of this, they seem to make up their own laws as they go!
Can you change the refund amount when you refund any of your transactions as you can normally set a partial amount instead of the full amount, so maybe it will let you set an amount over the transaction amount (i.e. the full account balance!)?
