Prodrive PPP Ecu on MY99 wagon difference??
Hi all
Will the prodrive Ecu from the ppp pack make a good difference to the performance of a standard uk 99 wagon?
I have a H&S full system fitted with a sports cat and k&n panel filter.
At the moment the wagon feels likes it's lacking alot of power lower down the revs with lag.
Is this a worthwhile upgrade as I don't really want to shell out for a full ekutek mapping session as the cars just a daily runner.
Also will the prodrive Ecu work well with the H&S exhaust system or do I need to find a prodrive backbox to match?
All help appreciated!!
Thanks.

With regards to your questions.
I have a PPP ECU in my wagon. I bought it 2nd hand off here.
I have a magnex system on the car [still the original downpipe though] a K&N panel filter, samco hoses & the ECU.
It went on the RR with the zorst & filter only & it made 229.
On the same RR after the hoses & ECU were added it made 250.
I have always been happy with the upgrade as i run it as a daily runner also. Much better response & better on fuel in my experience.
Hope this helps.

i wouldnt bother unless you have the same mods as a ppp car would have. Better off spending the extra on the ecutek or 2nd hand simtek - at least you will be able to re-map it to your mods
