I have the hatch with the sc46 billet in it built by enginetuner.
On vpower its just about perfect for road use as my daily driver. With the methanol it starts getting a bit extreme for the road hitting over 500flbs before 3500rpm.
When we first spec'd my car I requested around 450bhp. The sc billet range was new and relatively unknown at the time so an sc50 billet was put in my car first. If i remember rightly it made 420bhp at only 1.1bar. It didnt get tested any higher than that as there was an unknown issue at the time. But realising the sc50 would comfortably make over my requests, we opted to go for more spool with the sc46. Im fairly sure you would be seeing near 500bhp on the sc50. But if I wanted to go any higher than what I have now I would go rotated. I wouldn't want to sacrifice anything that I get low down at the moment for a few extra horses. Also I don't think the sc50 is so "standard fit" in the hatch. It pretty damn tight in there!
Will the engine last? Everyone seems to have an opinion about how much the 2.5 can take. I think it depends on who builds it, how your gonna use it and who maps it.
Good luck with your project, can't wait to see some results

Yes I have racerom with dual maps, may aswell get a methanol map or race fuel map done. You might never use the map but its good to know its there and what your car is fully capable of with the right juice
