Anyone around the Carlisle area???
Big enough that they fancy visiting some ******* trying to pull a fast one on me??
Bought a car off eBay, white classic, and picked it up last minute through last nightt (all night job!) on his request.
First off he had switched the newage seats out and I had to call him on them....got them.
But as it was 3am when I left I didn't realise he had removed the Apexi , ecu!!
My fault I know I should have noticed but it was dark, wet and I was shattered with a 5 hour drive home ahead of me.
Now, I called him in the morning and he claimed it was ages ago that was fitted and wasn't included in the sale......although it was in all the pictures.....
After looking at the receipts he only bought the apexi a few months ago and is clearly trying to pull a fast one!!
What you guys think I should do from here??
Anyone in that area fancy a trip across to part someone from some cash or the ecu that should have come with the car??

Ebay item description for items that are "Significantly not as described":
The item is missing major parts or features and this was not disclosed in the listing.
I would call an ECU a pretty major part? And it definately does not disclose the fact that the APexi is now removed from the car.
The boy has been trying to tell me today that the car wasn't sold through ebay (wtf??? lol) and all kind of things trying to say he can remove parts from the car and I can expect only to recieve the car I see rather than the car on eBay....???
His attitude is telling me he knows what he has done as he has gone from not having one, to having had one on the car ages ago, to having recently sold it.....
I've offered to settle as a misunderstanding but his attitude stinks- and it takes a lot to wind me up but he's managed!
He didn't write down "Apexi" but the pictures of the car show it so I would expect to recieve a car with that fitted- or have I got it all wrong?
Noticed when I was a bit up the road that it wasn't there so tried to call him, he wouldn't answer and then turned his phone off....wish I'd just turned back now!!

Err.. If the Apexi is removed what ECU is fitted?
the reason i ask is..
It say's the car has 850cc injectors???? The Std ECU unless mapped for them will NOT run the 850 Injectors.
has the ECU been totally removed or just the commander? does the car even have the injectors.. All questions u will want answered too.

If you want the extras like the closed deck block and the injectors / fuel rails extras I'll want £3000

Just a standard ECU fitted- the ECU and hand commander are both gone.
Just all very suspect being that he had also swapped out the newage seats that I had to ask for......was an "oh yeah" moment and you could see the dissapointment I had remembered as they were well hidden away.

Unless the advert has been edited, it doesn't state anywhere what it has an Apexi ECU fitted. The hand controller is clearly visible though, doesn't mean the ECU is actually there.
Also, with regards to the seats,
It does actually state that the car comes with classic seats, not newage.
Good luck, but, sold as seen IMO.

Just looked at ebay ad and in the pictures in the 5th picture hand controller is there and in the 7th its not

I was looking at this car but the boy said that someone fae aberdeen was on his way, guessing that was you allsop83. guess its annoying no having the apexi but the cars still got a few extra toys an bits so not a complete rip off
Althought thinking bout it i called the day before you picked it up an i asked the guy who mapped the apexi, he said 'a place in wrexham', so why tell me who mapped it if it wasnt on the car?
