impreza body
I'm kinda new too subaru so i'll ask my questions too use lot that know more than me probs.
Ive had my impreza sport for about a year now i love my snowboardin and its sh*t hot awd is amazin in the snow aslong as the ground clearance good,
so onto my question, mines is a 1999 classic so it got abit of rust on the rear quarters sills are solid though, had to get my arcg inside welded though, but theres no drama there, so see with me lookin at the new age models why is it the panels dont rust in the same places? like at the rear quarters where the bumper meets?? and do the the rear arches rust the same, im going for a sport again as i travel long distances for my boardin i dont wanna break down lol
plus parts are cheaper
i love my subaru
non turbo engines are amazin
130k doesnt use oil,
have fitted new brakes all round
new belts
new thermostat
flushed coolant
new rear bearing in the garage just now gettin 1 fitted just now
if the car needs it, it gets it
engine has no leaks
i just want a newer model im lookin at about a 54 plate sport
so i can sort everything out before the rust sets in and with the sale of my old one i'll get some goodies for the new 1

The old ones were prone to rust as you know even mine had that problem. The new ones do rust as well so don't think that it can't happen. I think the reason you hear less about it is because they are newer and because they changed a few bits around to make it less likely to rust.
