Default Hawkeye STI: Now with Steering and Power

Just collected my car from Scooby Projects after fitment of a WALK, castor correct strut top mounts and PAS bushes. The steering is really quite dramatically improved:

-no more wandering around on lift-off and power on
-no more vagueness on corner entry
-far more weight and stability around the dead ahead
-vastly improved initial turn-in response

Having driven 1500km in one go on fast motorway and A roads I'm hugely impressed with the difference these parts have made.

I also had the car mapped by Bob Rawle for 344bhp and 382lb ft. Car is standard bar an STI panel filter, RCM pump and middle decat. Power all over the rev range, 4th in particular is mighty impressive.

Bob also fitted auto-blip for downshifts and flat shifting, both of which work very well when you're in mad crazy attack mode...

All in all a very good set of upgrades for a reasonable outlay.

Excellent service from Bob and Keith throughout as well - I can highly recommend them.

Indeed, Whiteline Anti-Lift Kit, claimed to improve compliance of the front wheels for more traction and less power-understeer while increasing castor for improve steering weight.

I can confirm that it does exactly what it's claimed to!

Does anyone know how the flat shifting actually works? Does it use a rev limiter to cut power?

It works really well but I don't want to use it too often if it's rev-limiter based for fear of damaging my pistons.
