Default catch cans

Some advice please:
I'm getting through far too much oil at the moment. No leaks, ?breathing.
Does a catch can make a big difference to oil consumption??

Perhaps I should try and resurrect an earlier group buy?!

If your engine is simply burning oil, a catch can is not going to cure that unless you have a partially blocked breather system. To stop oil loss you would need to re-cycle the caught oil by using a return to sump catch can system.

i read in the group buy that the scooby needs 3 ports for its catch can. Then i saw that japspeed do one with only 2 ports...
clearly i dont know much about these but why the difference? which is right?
