Default WRX 300?? Opinions Please

Thinking of having a look at this:

http://www.howemotors.co.uk/used-car...01148432558160

Is this definitely a WRX300?

Its got the Alcantara interior with Subaru swooshes on but is it meant to have a plaque/badges on side and rear though?

Cheers.

The badges under side indicators look right. Surely though for that kind of money you can get an sti and have the benefit of 6 speed and brembos.

As above if that car ticks all the boxes then go for it but make sure you get a wedge off specially a week before xmas etc.

Although there are some seriously tasty STi's on here for sale and on other sites that are cheaper and in my eyes a better buy. All depends how long your looking to keep it but if its only a year or 2 expect to lose a bit on the resale price.

Good luck though and worth going to have a look!!

Looks to have all the right additions.....but as said above it is pricey even for a ltd addition 300......If it was up for around Ł5500 then it would be a good buy

x2. I was looking for a WRX300 a while back, in the end i found all of them to be overpriced for what you get as 'extras'. Dealers seem to think people are stupid as because it is a 'limited edition' you should have to pay for it, when the only main difference from a WRX PPP is the blue seats and some 300 badges. In the end I bought a lightly modified WRX PPP.

Only advantage of wrx 300 is the ppp is standard so no need to declare to insurance as not modified, and has nice alcantara interior. They are nice cars if a wrx is your preferred choice.

Ok cheers for comments. Looking to p/x so hence the dealer, but yes I think it's a bit pricey as well. On saying that though it's low mileage and sounds like its history is good. Just realised I still have my Subaru details under my name but swapped that for a Saab Aero that I want to part ex.

I did a Wisebuyers price check and it came up just a smidge over Ł7k so it's actually not overpriced according to that.

It's close to me as well which is another reason I might have a looksie.

I like the interior (had the same in my Subaru) and the low spoiler. It looks like it has red callipers - is that standard?

Worth 5 grand if you're lucky and the buyer would have to really want a 300 !!!

Cost Ł21,495 retail at launch but it was never recognised as one of the cherished limited editions as it was simply a Blob WRX with PPP plus a few extra's.

Should be selling for considerably less IMHO.

Red calipers without the raised letters are standard. Y

The prices are higher but he should take a beating before Xmas and throw in a warranty at least. Looks like a local car, not sure if it's Gaz300's old car , he's down Barry way.

Not much believe it or not, parkers is your best bet for valuations, dont expect more than a couple of grand though, the market has dropped out on high fuel consumption cars
