I remember jason going on about going through craners at 120mph. We had been taking the mickey as all his engine bay was immaculate the session before he rolled it.
I also remeber chris taking me out showing me the lines at oulton park. Catching up 500bhp skylines with a pretty much standard sti bar a decat. Eee. Good times.
Oh and then the lakes run I went on

Hi Chris and welcome back - thankfully haven't needed to test the Safety Devices roll cage for the P1 that you sold me all those years ago and only recently threw out some slicks I got from you as well - mind you they were like MDF when I found them at the back of the cellar
I remember that Craner incident too - I was just behind them and the seats collapsed when the car went in
Silly scoobs have moved on a bit now - with several in the 600 and 700bhp level- so even taking it easy you'll find things happening quite quickly

It was pretty impressive from where I was sitting - it looked like you were just passengers from just after the bump on the Craner's :eek.
The way you leapt the gravel trap on the left... whilst going backwards... with the two of you looking calmly back at me (or so it seemed) until you hit the armco and you both promptly disappeared from view as the seats flopped was sobering. It was a good job you rattled down along the armco towards the Old Hairpin rather than going in at right angles.
The marshals waved me off and I drove slowly back to the pits where people where asking me what happened. I described it as best I could and then we all waited for the low loader to bring the car back.
When it arrived a few said to me " I thought you said it was quite a big one"?
I said " walk around the other side...."

Ah yes a name from the past
Mellow yellow
You organised one of the lakes runs 10 years ago and I remember you had a P1 I think with a net to keep helmets in on the back seat
We all set off in batches in 10 minute intervals and you blasted past 4 of us in a little convoy after giving us a head start then we never saw you for smoke
In them days there was northern runs from M62 with 100 + cars turning up
