Hmmmm, one wonders if it's anything to do with the FACT that, although motorcycles make up less than 4% of the traffic in any EC country, they are involved in around 40% of serious accidents and fatalities?
I DO know, for example, that some EC states have laws forbidding motorcycles to be built with more than, say 100bhp, and aftermarket parts are allowing them to go over.
And that restricted mopeds and 50cc bikes are being DE-restricted by the use of aftermarket parts.
There are two sides to most stories, I suspect this is the case here too.....

All the uncertainty about MOT changes in 2012 and this, methinks this is the start of a worrying trend. Is there anything these pathetic EU politicians won't mess around with?? Probably not!

Signed, even if it could do with re-wording better (leaves holes wide open to reject it).
but they could do with banning those tiny led indicators though.
Was given the bird by one rider who was using them and I didn't see as it was that tiny and directional (LEDs aren't viewable from obtuse angles)...wish I'd knocked him off so I could tell him that his aftermarket indicators were shyte.

Signed, but can't really see this going through as how would testers know most of the aftermarket parts unless they where experts in all brands of bike, let's hope they don't try to expand it further as it would ruin a lot of businesses in the uk
