evo vs scoob
before i start let me just say that all events took place on a private road .
ok so my last thread was an mr2 turbo vs scoob and how surprisingly quick they are even in standard form
!! but today i had a more serious toy in my rear view ! im not 100% on the model and spec ? but it was a pretty evil looking evo
i believe it was an evo 7 fq ? he told me it had 380bhp after he kicked my ****
i was pretty happy to keep with him but he just had the edge over my wrx . i like a play with bigger toys , but maybe i should pick on the saxo's and corsa's from now on ? as im not havin much luck
i always said if i lose ill take it off ? and i will

Its usually people with sort of standar running cars that think they are the fastest. You have to realise that other cats are modded as well and its no big deal if a car is faster

Its all confusing, some call it MR right? Its never been clear, some say FQ stands for F****** Quick & some places say its a tuning company in the UK?

Only been done twice, as above an old 8 series bmw the v8 alpina about 440bhp as standard and a whole lot of torque!!!
Oh and the secound time an old shape mini
turned out to have 2 busa engines with blowers on, explains why I felt like I was in reverse in 2nd gear.

Most of the big bruisers will have a scoob at the top given there top speed potential.

FQ apparently stands for F in Quick and is a optional power pack from Mitsi UK and the work is carried out by Owens developments.
FQ= power pack
Evo 7 had two packs available FQ300 and FQ330
Evo 8 had two packs available FQ300 and FQ330
The 8 MR is a different model it's like a faclift of the 8 with a better spec engine and aluminium roof and bilsteins.
The power packs available for the 8 MR are as follows.
FQ300
FQ320
FQ340
and the famous FQ400 we seen on top gear.
The Evo 9
FQ300
FQ320
and FQ340
Evo 10
FQ300
FQ360
FQ400
Hope that clears things up.

what you need is more power.
Go back to David at Api and ask him for an Ns04 esque 470 conversion!
