when i changed my engine before xmas took the lot out,pump radiator pipes etc.well surpsrised how much it weighed.now have all interior out and sound deading on floor next job

If you are just going to remove the belt you are not going to release much at all in the way of hp as the belt is only rotating the pulley as the pump is not being driven until the air con is switched on. Also to the best of my knowledge all models turn the air con off while on full throttle as subaru assume that you want the power too accelerate with!
