I was going through the folder of history that came with my car. I found this paperwork for the roll cage on STI headed paper;


the same headed paper as a genuine STI Splitter.


Also found the paper work for the genuine Impreza Power Converter, anyone else got one of these in the rear of there car?


When i got this Type r v3 as a fresh import with 1 owner, apart from the cage it was 100% standard, which is weird. Did STI ever offer a roll cage, iv never heard of it ??

Havnt got any clear pics of the cage inside the car. This is the car the day i got it and a inside shot of a bit of the cage. Dont know vin no but could pop outside in the dark if that will help?

Looks that way to me, wether it was actually manufactured by them I dont know but it certainly looks as though its one they would supply with car if requested by the buyer.

Genuine STi roll cage is surely a 'hens teeth' kind of rare??

It's a genuine STI roll cage (possibly made for them by cusco) we have seen only one before so in the UK they are very rare.

Those floor mats however are most certainly NOT genuine STi
