Big Thanks aka *** kissing JGM and more
Just wanted to thank Simon for his work again on my car today.
Been having the car mapped by Simon for a few years now and todays results are the best yet.
Car is great/fun to drive now. Can't wait to get back in it again.
Thanks again mate your a star.
My scanner is goosed and can't load the dyno print outs from my phone on to photobucket for some reason?
Whilst I am thanking Si, best do some more *** kissing
Thanks Charlie of www.Surreyrollingroad.co.uk . As always a pleasure.
Mark at Lateral Performance for putting up with my calls and of course a great turbo.
Dan of Surrey Subaru Specialist on 07786 642963 for sorting my car out and putting more than enough man hours on the car in a short space of time.
Cheers again guys.
Steve

Thanks guys.
Made 450 bhp / 400lbft on V-Power & 482bhp / 420 lbft on V-power + 15/18% meth mix.
Si took the time to check my ALS / Launch Settings again too.
It shut up a few boys who turned up in Clio Trophy when they found out it was still on standard internals and sports cat......not to mention is my everyday car and is used for school runs, shopping and dump trips.
I could even see Simon raise a few smiles and chuckles.
Really nice to drive now.

MD321T billet....is nothing short of amazing. I loved the MD321T before but the new version is light night and day over the older version of the T.
It's mapped safe and mods have clicked all into place mate.
T - 1bar = 3800 rpm / 1.5bar = 4100 rpm
T Billet - 1bar 3450 rpm / 1.5bar = 3780 rpm
Will check ALL my graphs fully later mate.
My personal view is the T is GOOD,VERY GOOD. But the Billet if you can do it.

Most managed on older version was 453 on 5ltrs part meth & 442 on v power.
It sure does hold a lot better matey not wrong. Some of that is helped by the 3bar map sensor . But the turbo feels lighter on the throttle.

Hi Steve,
Sorry thought I had replied thursday?
Nice to chat to you too matey. Power in your classic is going to be mental. It was only on the day I was picking up my car from Dan's I noticed you had a cage etc.
Much longer? Engine is in isn't it?
Was tempted for the T+ at the time I pruchased mine on a non billet but went for the normal T.

Um no.
Engine coming back out again....
When Dan started it up No 2 piston died after a short while.
It had minor damage on the top from where the end of the spark plug blew off - which is what caused the head problem in the first place. I am guessing the Piston had some unseen weakness in it somewhere. In a way I am glad it let go whilst at Dans.
So Dan is going to pull it apart and replace the piston - which we didnt do first time round as there is no access to the gugeon pin through the linered block.
So its a while away for me yet
Any one reading this from the South East. If you are looking for someone to work on your car. Dan at Surrey Subarus is a decent bloke who is well priced and knows his stuff.
Thoughly recomended. 07786 642963
The shell has a bit of rot, nothing disaterous, but wish I had started with a better one. The cage is paded and I have had a specialy fabricated harness bar (Harvey Smith/Darren did that for me - two other people worth letting lose on your car )
It is missing door bars really. Alot of the inside, the whole back is striped - the last major thing is losing the electric door mechs at the front and puting manuals in but I can find them for love or money. Have fire exthingisher and fuel cut, but no electrical cut yet. Decent wheel, pedals, harnesses in there now too....I kind have developed this fetish for losing weight
Yes and the car is Mental

Think the highest I have seen on a sportscat was 750bhp but it was in the centre section and we were pretty sure most of it was missing etc as it had been running 500+ for a while.

Only another 248 to go Si. Pull ya finger out.
How much do you think the sports cat held me back by if at all. It always been a very good flowing cat anyway.
