any idea how many wrx sti type R in uk

Less every day at the rate they are being broken, and then theres all the soon to be crashed ones, as they have now come into the price range of the hot hatch front wheel drive brigade, and the lift off oversteer catches them out on a bend or the boost kicks in at the wrong moment when their confidence level is running high.
in answer to your question there must be a couple of thousand.

Yeah, around where I live I never saw a single type R until mine was imported.
There are 3 P1's local to me.I know 2 of them but the 3rd I pass every now and again. So roughly 3 to 1 here anyway.
I'm also seeing less and less classics overall here.

I'd be interested to know aswell but surely there is no way of knowing as the specific model details weren't noted when imported as far as I know, I may be wrong, but in reality we can't say exactly?

Mine is registered as a GL, so that site lists it as a GL. When it clearly isn't.

From: 1600cc's of twin scroll fun :)
I owned a classic when thats all they made, I moved on to a new age JDM twin scroll and have not looked back since
Even when I had to sell my car due to a change of job I purchased a nice version 5 type R (which I still own) as I missed owning a subaru, and I wouldnt say I regretted it, but it just doesnt do it the same as a new age JDM car (which is a much better car tbh )
So in the 4 subaru's ive owned (2 being brand new), the first was an MY00 UK turbo (PPP'd, a/c, brembo brake/AP 308mm kit, PD7's etc) I moved to an MY03 JDM Spec C, heavier, much quicker, total beast in comparison, then to the v5 sti type R and now back in an MY03 JDM Spec C
