I bought my old one from JapanParts but was only £280 then! Came colour coded tho

 

£500 was just a rough guess but I don't think I will be too far out. As above they do appear secondhand every now and again. Japanperformanceparts have some occasionally at around £200-£300.

I was lucky enough to get mine in the right colour and complete for £185 and it's a genuine Spec C one

Oh and a classic one doesn't fit on a newage either.

When I bought mine it was only £160 delivered which was nice, only problem is if you need new interior plastic screw fittings they are £4 each off the stealers!!

Originally the roof vents were only On RA's and Type R Ltd Classics. The Spec C was later. Original is best

 

There is a guy in Essex who fits them and does a great job,not bad at building engines so I hear.

 

I know a comedy double act that can cut your roof open and distract you at the same time.
