Am I the only one that gets annoyed when people never says thanks or give a cheeky little wave when I let someone out a junction, cross the road or pull out of a driveway!!! 4 people today within an hour either just looked at me like I was not there or didn't even bother doing that!! Bunch of ****s! Sorry..... Rant over!!!! Maybe I should just not bother clearly!

 

happens all the time in huddersfield mate , been here 3 yrs still makes me boil ,mainly taxis!

I agree with you totally, you let somebody into traffic / allow them thorough / show good road manners and the ignorant ba$tards can't even be bothered to even acknowledge you.

It boils my p155 but I've noticed that its more common in urban rather than rural driving, I don't let it worry me too much - I just take joy from the fact that my manners are better than theirs plus it makes it worth while when you do get some form of thanks. Especially when it's from an attractive female.

 

As you've said just common courtesy to wave a hand or flash your hazards after you've been let out. Or maybe some drivers can't do 2 things at once!! Lol

 

It would also seem that if you drive a merc, jag or rangerover etc you are exempt from road manners,it is your god given right to just force your way out and look the opposite way!

 

I usually give them the benefit to wave till the last minute then the finger usually appears

 

Thing is they know we look after our cars so they play on the fact that we will not push it as we don't want them bent. Love it when I go out in my Renault Scenic and they try it on, NO GIVE!!! Just wonder if I could fit the running gear of a scooby to my scenic so i can teach them a lesson in all aspects!!!!!!!

 

It really annoys me too because it's just basic manners but Slough is the worst place in my opinion for ignorant drivers not thanking you, I'm not stereotyping but it's a certain group that are completely f*cking ignorant!

I hate driving in Slough for this very reason, we all know Slough is a sh!thole but these tossers make it worse than it need be

 

Bus drivers & taxi drivers there the most ignorant *****
Never give way to them lolol and if i get one behind me slow as **** lololol fun to watch there faces in the mirror
Hate the *****
