MoTeC have now reduced the cost of their products accross the board.
An M48 ECU adapted for a Scooby now costs £1355.00 + VAT against the old cost of £1845.00 + VAT. Good news for everone who wants "the best"

Beware of MoTeC, friends, unless you are sure people doing the tuning know what they are up to. Even here in Australia there are still no proven and tested road programs available, only the rally group N and A maps which are lethal for either a WRX or an STi. It should be the best product, although its main qualities do not have much meaning in road use.
Finally, unless I am wrong RichB is a MoTeC dealer in the UK, isn't he? Oops, sorry, I forgot no one minds these 'relations' in the UK.
Getting ready for attacks from all the good people.
bye

Since we don't supply MoTec over the next few weeks I shall endeavour to establish a more balanced view than those proffered by Marsupial and the mad dutchman!
Several reasons;
1. Everybody has heard of MoTec
2. Everybody knows it is a blinding product
3. People seem to think it has drawbacks
Maybe it is best used on motorsport applications but for Kangaroo to suggest that all should be careful and one needs to be aware that it is very difficult to map is not a fair call.
Flying a plane is not easy unless you are a pilot.

Nick Cartwright and Theodore Soutzos both had Motec management on their 22Bs.
This was via Auto Sportif, both blew up due to fuelling problems.
Also neither the water spray or the air conditioning would work!

Dear Ben (the fair player!),
Is it better to be fair by your 'standards' and have engines blown, or tell people not to spend money on potentially excellent, but practically for road cars completely non-developed management system? We have had this created over here and there is, to this date, not one WRX or STi that functions correctly, safely let alone superior to some other products of the kind, either in Australia, its neighborhood or elsewhere. I would be gobsmacked to hear otherwise.
Ultimately, you should be pleased (at least quietly) as you are the one trying to sell one of those 'other'products.
Thanks for your words of 'wisdom'. The world wouldn't know how to survive without you, mate.
