60 fooking quid
These are pretty standard across lots of jap stuff, inc motorcycles. I'd look for something from another model and pay 1/3 of that massively inflated rip off price. You'll just need to find out the opening temp for different models.

Not quite £100, more than most but worth it if you need it and if it's in stock

I fitted one to my hawkeye, used to run 88-95 on the standard stat. Now I run 78-85 tops. Hot Idle 91 after a run. have fitted them to the other 2 scoobs with similar results. The new 95 classic 78-85 and hot idle 88 tops. Doubt all you want the temps don't lie I would recommend them on a 2.5 for sure ! my 2.5 always ran a little hotter than my 2ltr classics
I also use Motul Inugel (orange) which is also a very good coolant
