Best Exhaust for burble
Looking to change my Afterburner back box on my 06 STi. Love the sound but since having a full decat it just isnt practical as the car is used daily and in and around small towns for work so its too loud. I have got a bung, but TBH hate the way it looks and sounds with the bug in. They never seem to fit that well?
SO, my question is what to go for that isnt as quiet as say a prodrive box but still has the flat for burble?. My options sar far are TSL Group N, which I had on the car before the afterburner. I changed it as it wasnt noisey enough then, but now its decatted I am thinking it may be a good option. Secondly, looking at the Scoobyworld Racebox?.
Anyone any suggestions, as I really dont want to keep changing it!!
Cheers

race tube... lol kidding, i had a Hayward and scott classic style backbox, before, i didnt have it decatted but have been told and heard they sound the best burby from what ive been told, mine was burbly even without a de-cat and a silence in the center pipe.. id go for H&S Classic style backbox, very similar to the scoobyworld racebox, but imo looks and sounds better!...

Thanks guys. Between tsl and scoobyworld racebox I think. Spoken to scoobyworld and they say it is mid way between prodrive and afterburner so looks good. Shame really, as for meets etc the vortex is just what I want but it is just to loud for work (already had a couple of complaints!)

Mine is fully decatted with milltek down pipe and milltek deresonated centre mated to my TSL Group N. Quiet enough for the early morning get aways but you know it's there when you press the loud pedal. Been on 5 yrs now and still looks the business. Been down the Afterburner route myself and couldn't live with the full on sound.

Which exhaust would get closest to the early impreza wrc exhaust note, minus the pops and bangs, as in one of my favourite videos; http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b4RMapc74lk
