plenty on here advertise, but mate do it right and just do it once,
cut corners to save too much money and youll end up paying mre to get the job put right later.
api come highly recommended from me, as does harvey smith. they have both worked on my cars with above an beyond levels of service.
if its just an engine out and replace job, its not really necessary to go to a "tuner" per say, although you certainly wont go wrong,
if going to modify engine before it goes back in to any extent - get people that work on subarus day in and out. they know all the problems and wee tricks to get the job done right.
heavy tuning = big money though. theres no way round that if you want power and reliability

id add to that mild tuning to well established levels doesnt have to cost the earth

You could do it yourself, buy an engine crane for £130 off ebay and sell it when you have done, then all you have to pay for is the fluids, half decent socket set and a jack is all you need to get it done, and will take a first timer 2 days out and in, all the info needed is on here.
