Mine is never clean with the way the wheels sit out from under the bottom of the arches.

Mark,
I have some mudflaps on my UK300 that might suit, send me a mail to my profile address and I'll send them back.
Cheers, Sean.
Edited to add: Pictures! Save some time etc.

Anyone know of any Mudflaps that will fit the STI Type UK?
£400 for the ones in the STI Accessories brochure is a bit on the expensive side and apparently the cheaper ones don't fit. I only paid £18 for all four for my MY 99.

Prodrive mini mudflaps for front, actually P1 ones but fit if you elongate the fixing holes slightly - £20 a pair from your local friendly Subaru dealer - part no. SACC 6021 I think.

Just fitted my STi ones today on my Prodrive STi. Looks the business, if however, a little too rally extreme....
I ordered them 6 weeks ago, got them yesterday, was expecting them to be £390 inc VAT. When I picked them up, was asked to pay £350. Still crazy pricing, but, you can't have the top motor with naf looking flaps.
Now, just got to wait for my touch up pen so I can touch up the chips on my front wings. Another 2-3 week wait apparently...
Cheers

PS. Will take some pictures of the car on Saturday, for anyone who want to check them out. Unless anyone else beats me to it.

Mark,
These will fit a non prodrive STi but NOT the prodrive on the front, due to sill shape, I have this style on the back of mine but would like somthing similar on the front. I dont realy want the huge rally style, just something to stop the stone chips.
DaveTS,
Have you fitted these Prodrive mini flaps on yours ?? if so do you have any pics please.
cheers Steve

I believe Prodrive are going to be making small mudflaps for the cars at some point in the future, and selling them through dealers. Very similar to the ones that Dave mentions, but with the holes in the correct place.
Two of the Scottish owners have the rally style ones fitted. One has the STi blue ones, which are slightly lighter than the body colour, and another has the SWRT logo ones, which are very marginally darker than the body colour.
Both offer lots of protection for the sides of the car, and the front ones also protect the underside of the body as well, and go far into the front wheel arches.
The reason the STi ones are so expensive is the cost of the materials used. The rubber/plastic material that the flaps are made from costs about £100/sheet to buy, and you would be lucky to get more than a couple of flaps per sheet. You then have to buy/manufacture all the stainless steel brackets etc.
MTR (Scoobynet user), also makes mini-mudflaps which will fit the cars, and sells them through a dealer for £10/pair.

Agree with John, the materials look a bit on the expensive side. Still, you try convincing your friends that it was £350 well spent... They just laugh at me...

Don't know mate. I am in Matlock tomorrow though.

Dave T-S,
Thanx M8 that would be great if you have time , Just want 2 see how they will look with the mini rear flaps that are already fitted . I can then get some ordered and stop some of the stone chips on the wings and doors.
Cheers Steve

£100 for mud flap material you must be joking.
If you look in the back of Motorsport News you can find it much cheaper and make some yourself.I did this following instructions from a web site I found. Its a bit of a fiddle but worth it to save £350 (you must have more money than sense!!).
Just found the add:
Yorkshire Rally Spares 01653 697266
Mud flap material 3mm Red/Black 300mm wide.
3M enough to do one set £25
10M £60
50M roll £250
Hope this helps someone save a few ££££

Just by chance a good pal of mine 'Kev' does a special deal STi mudflaps. Charged me around 650 quid to have these beauties fitted onto my Sport. Thing is they're made of a compound called 'LITART' which apparently makes them last 20 years. HEHE with my driving giving my SPort some stick should last me about 3 years!!! ANyway if you want some give us a bell and I'll get some ordered to you A.S.A.P

If you have a look at http://www.ravensblade-impreza.com you can find templates for the STI mudflaps and make your own.
I did this, and they came out really well. The cost for the full set was $75NZ or just over £20.00
The mudflap material *IS* really expensive if you use sheet eurathane, but heavy duty rubber sheet (3-4mm) works well also and is much cheaper. I got 1m x 1.2m for $70NZ and the stainless steel for the brackets for $5 as an offcut.
Making them up is pretty easy following the instructions on the site above. You do need to mod them slightly to fit the new shape, but its not too much of a hassle.
And IMHO the STI mudflap prices are taking the p**s!

Ok everyone, as promised....
For those of you who wish to splash out on the genuine article STi mud flaps.
Taken these piccies this morning. These are the £400 dealer ones, or £350 if your want to fit yourself. Took me a couple of hours to do all 4. Drilling required in each arch so wheels have to come off.
Cheers

Simon,
As the very proud owner of the same car, I must say the m/flaps look very tasty. I am however having a hard job justifying the price tag.
I don't care what the bloody things are made of, £400.00 for a piece of rubber is just too much.

And a couple more
Thanks for the comments guys. I know, a lot of money and difficult to justify. Like I said though, had two scoobs now and both have suffered with chips down the side. The STi is 8 weeks old now and already needs some attention.
What can I say, I don't want mini flaps, I want, erm... catch everything flaps...
Cheers

Simon, Spoke to Darren at Tileys ref Prodrive Mini mudflaps, quoted the part number you gave me 'SACC6021', he couldn't find this part code on the computer, any chance you could double check this part number for me.
Thanks
Nigel.
P.S How's the STI?

Righty ho, finally got around to taking/uploading some pics of the Prodrive mini mudflaps.
And dug out the original packaging, the leaflet that comes with them is confusing but the label on the bag they were in says SACC2145
