numbers are all that counts, lol
in all seriousness, some love figures, some just love how it drives
different strokes an all that...
does it really matter why some like one over the other, not in the fckin slightest, its your car/build, use it as you wish.
to me, anyone that has some sort of issue with how others use/disply figures or times is the sad one, for actually letting it bother them that much lol

really? everbody states bhp then does nothing to prove it you of all people know about dyno figures, as you also know in gear times are better than bhp pub figures, so do you want dick waving figures? or proper on the road figures?

Right... I'll say one more time for you!
I'm assuming the thread you have linked to is suggesting that dyno figures mean **** and it's what the car does on the black stuff that's relevant. I agree 100%, however you have already asked whether or not that time is quick or whatever.... I'm saying you'd need to state what type of box you have and what gear it was run in, if you want any meaningful feedback from anyone else.
Understand me now mate?

absoulety not some will go to many rr trying to get the best figures whereas on the road figures tells you how quick it is, thats why there is 30-130 and the drag strip for those that cant make those two theres always the old fashioned "in gear" times,

Arguments, jesus, does it matter?
I have mine set up the way I want it, I did start chasing numbers then took a step back to see what I actually wanted from the car, so set about, and got it to a very good stage. I yet to go on track or drag strip to see about times. But I love the way its set, plus also made sure it stays on the road.
Hey how less of that.
Enjoy your cars. And have fun.

With the current spec I'm achieving 60-100mph in 4.1s. That's in 4th on a 6sp box.
In comparison a Newage 2.5ltr at 368bhp did it (same gear) in 5.9s.

that is very quick, are the jdm and uk 4th different? sorry if this has been posted 3 million times

Arf's car has made 650bhp on two DD dyno's on different sides of the counrty, so I'm fairly happy that it's bang on
A 10.74 1/4 mile from a lardy Newage isn't to be sniffed at either.
If you actually get brave enough to try a 1/4 mile, you'll see what I mean.

tried it for the 1st time ever a couple of wks ago, driver error could of played a part as gear change could of been slow, did it in 11.9 doht know if thats good bad or indifferent, think it was slightly up hill but not making excuses, just need practice

that was tongue in cheek martyn hence the smileys, 10s would be very difficult for me but car will be capable once its got proper map, thats why ive stuck with in gear times
