Does the word 'bump' mean sold or something similar

bump to the top,when you post it will bump the thread to the top so everyone sees it again.

You mean on for sale ads? It's just a post on a for sale thread to get it back to the top of the for sale section. To 'bump' it back up again so it isn't lost down in the 2nd or 3rd page where no one looks as much

Bump is what people put when they have something to sell that no one is interested it. Because its either overpriced, not relevent to a car forum or just junk, but they think its the the bargain of the century. Ie: blueray bundle's and used kids toys etc.

When I want to buy something, I do a search, its doesn't have to be at the top of a page for me to see it.
