Default Bought It!!!

Well after a few posts and a weekend trailing the internet I found what I had been looking for.

2004 WR (Thanks Tommy) UK STI Blob, 2 owners 35K on the clock, full history - £6995

Pick it up in a week or so once my reg transfer has been done and the very nice dealer has removed two ultra-small door dents.

Here are some pictures - Mods if this is not allowed feel free to remove . . .

Needs a new exhausts, one of the seat runners has tarnished and the boot needs some new carpet as the old one has deformed over time other than that it is pretty minty.

Chris

Looks good, as above though it's WR blue.

Rear wheels look like they live too far inside the arches for my liking, I know that's how they all are on these but would look so much better with some different offset rims or even some spacers.

Totally agree, Prodrive PPF7s and 10mm spacers as soon as I can find a real pair.

Sold it and bought a new 911 C2S then a new GTR and then a CSL, now I have all them out of my system I want something I can drive everyday without worrying about the next service, how much it has dropped in value today or what if . . . .

Without sounding dumb what is the difference between a widetrack and narrow track apart from the track. I know my old one had DCCD which I never got close to using but apart from that are there a lot of differences, did not even know there was a different version until just now.

Oh dear...

The widetrack model MY05 compared to the one before MY04, drives very differently. The handling is much improved in a number of areas.

Even once coilovers, drop links and sway bars are done - is there really that much in it and can it be easily sorted.

Please dont ruin my day.

Yes, just read up, 2005 onwards has slightly wider arches at the rear and the lock to lock turn has been shortened.

I can live without DCCD and to be honest the interior is not amazing in any Impreza I have been in, kind of goes with Jap cars in general, although they have come on a long way in the last few years.

To be honest for the price I could not knock it, the miles are low and the interior looks to be in great condition.

Will look for some pics of my old interior later to compare against my new, older interior

Looked around for 8 - 9K cars but could not see anything I liked apart from a very nice fully modded 04 for 8.5K, it only cost me 7 so I am a grand up.

Stupid question but where is the best place to buy some replacement badges and a nice gay pink one for the front grille?
