Thinking of buying a Tribeca but can't make up my mind so looking for honest opinions from current and previous owners please!

I know they're not everyone's cup of tea so I don't want to start a debate on how ugly they are, I am interested in the opinions of people who own or have owned them.

What are they like to own?
What are the good and bad points?
What sort of mpg do they return in "real life"?
Any major issues with them?
What are servicing costs like?
Are spares easy to get hold of and what are the prices like?
Etc etc

They sell well in the US because fuel is cheap.
They plummeted in value in the UK from the beginning because no-one liked them and no diesel.
They are capable and would probably do well if they didn't look like a constipated snake.
