Default What are my injectors worth??

I've got a set of Area 52 740cc Injectors
http://www.scoobymania.com/shop/prod...5a11f511ebd71d
I don't really need them and I'm trying to raise money for a respray so I'm thinking about selling them but I'm not sure what they are worth.
I've just had them ultrasonically cleaned and flowmatched and new o-rings fitted so they are in perfect working order, they just look a bit rough
Have a close look at the photos to see what I mean.
Will this affect their value? I'm in 2 minds about selling them, if they're not worth much then I'll keep them for future use. Any ideas?
Cheers!

Don't think they melted, looks like some knobber took them out with a pair of pliers, or a hammer and chisel.

They've not melted, the black collars have been pushed up, the original o-rings were nipped so I'm guessing they've just not been treated very well. The tops have been bashed a bit too.
As for your £100 offer, in this thread I'm asking for advice on value, not asking for stupid offers.

I think you are correct, it wasn't me though, they were like that when I got them

Actually i'd say they are not worth much more in that sort of condition if anything at all, barge and pole come to mind.

If one of them decides to stop working as a result of the damage to them, it could wind up being a very costly set of cheap injectors, especially considering the power a person would be running to have a use for them, as they are 500bhp injectors.

Sorry but you did ask.

Only my opinion of course.

Due to the condition there's no way I'd use them! Someone has been a bit handfisted removing them I'd say they were worth £200 in good condition but they are only worth half that now.

i dont think an offer of £100 for potentially a damged set of injectors is a stupid offer, they're £350 new and could probably be got for £150-200 elsewhere in good, undamaged condition.

As said above these injectors even though cleaned may fail in a few days time after fitting them due to damage.

My offer still stands if you dont end up selling them.

Ok, thats fine, as I said in the original post if they are not worth much I'll keep them myself rather than accept a stupid offer.
Out of interest, what could potentially go wrong with them? How could they just stop working?

Exactly and that's the reason I wouldn't use these injectors!

Having read some of your other threads I quite value your opinion, I understand how a damaged injector could ruin an engine but I'm unsure how an injector with damage inflicted by removal could just stop working at any time? I've got a basic knowledge of injector operation but maybe I'm missing something? What sort of damage would need to be inflicted to stop it working?
