Default Paperback owners manual?

I know Haynes don’t do a book for my Impreza 2000 Turbo wagon and you can get online guides but I was wandering if there was ever an owner’s manual book for the classic or if the Haynes Subaru legacy is inter changeable with the engine details?

Reason being I don’t want to hunt though hundreds of internet pages just to find out where something is on the engine when it would be easier to have the book with me in front of the car.

An "owners manual" would have been supplied by Subaru with the car.

Is that what you are after, or the "Workshop/Service manual" ??

Workshop manuals for the pre-newage cars came in paper format, in a number of volumes/supplements and were very expensive.

Some of them can be found here.............

Thanks for that.
I guess because of the price is why most people use the online ones.

Can you use the Haynes Legacy Turbo manual with the impreza turbo engine since I presume it’s the same engine just different body?

Not sure which Haynes manual you are refering to, but they are all based on the US versions of the cars, which didn't get the 2.0L turbo.

The "correct" manuals can be downloaded and individual pages then printed out
