cometic gaskets

Just wondering if anyone has had any issues with Cometic gaskets?
After my rebuild, heads and block checked and skimmed by engineer, it appears my cometic gaskets failed within a 200 yard drive??

I had some cometic gaskets fail after a short period on my forged build,2k miles and I went with genuine subaru MLS gaskets then and fine ever since mate.

Do you think I should moan about it to supplier?? Seem to be hearing a few horror stories about these now

I paid alot of money for them to £130

Mine are fine if that helps forged 2.5 at 440BHp and 1.5 bar

mine went after my header tank popped but have done the headgaskets again using cometic ones (again) and have been fine running over 400bhp at 1.6bar.
