Default Taken along time to fit and as good as scrap

Hey people

I bought some coilovers, from a person on this forum way back in december and have only just got round to fitting them last weekend.
He had listed them and good condition they only reason he removed them is cause they were to low and to hard for him (he likes his comfort he said) well as i said i got round to fitting them at the weekend and they knock and rattle like anything, so to me these are not as he listed.
I have contacted him straight away and then checked he has been online since so i have now sent him another msg.
But where do i stand on this one one as i bought them months ago and he obviously dont care he got his money.

Looks like i will be spending another weekend taking them all off and putting my old shocks back on and then scrapping the coilovers

Is it just not he top mounts knocking, without knwoing the exact make etc, i thought they came with replaceable top mounts ?

not that its right he sold them with knocking top mounts (if indeed it is that) not a nice job to be doing twice !!

Are you sure you fitted them properly?

Did you put any pre-load on?
