intercooler fitting help

Default intercooler fitting help

hi guys just quick question as i have never fitted a fmic on a scooby before i have seen that when some people fit them they have to cut the inner wing to get the pipe through is this right??

depends on what make of kit you buy , and year of car , i have one fitted to my99 and didnt need to cut anything for pipework

Where did u get yours from ? Is the 99 and 00 the same I want to get one for my00 type r ? I will keep a eye on this trend, hope there is no cutting involved.

hdi intercooler mate with e bay pipe kit , holes in inner wing are in same place on late classics so no need to cut anything , early models need inner wing cutting!

Mine is a 98 classic facelift, with a Hybrid GT2.
Small amount cut from inner wing.
Bumper trimming was a major job.
