Default 93 wrx stuttering, stall ongoing issue. collapsed cat?

i am struggling with my 93 wrx, since i have had this car i have had a issue with a stutter, although it does seem to be getting worse.

i have done alot of things to try and remedy but have made no improvement.

the first codes i had was maf and iacv, i cleaned the iacv and this disapeared, tried with the maf and reset.

i then got tps and maf, i checked and cleaned tps and this disapeared, i changed the maf but code came back and still stuttered

found some dodgy wiring to the maf from ecu and repaired but still getting code.

i decided to change the fuel pump to be sure a 255lph but still stutters.

i have found that i seem to get some venting back from air filter / turbo heat exhaust when stopped at lights.

im wondering if the cat in the downpipe has calapsed causing gas to come back to maf and causing the ecu to restrict fuel? the o2 sensor is in but the wire is cut off it, could this effect it?

i have noticed the 90deg pipe between resinator and turbo is a bit damaged and may leak a bit, which i will replace, it has a port out which goes to the intercooler looks broken and repaired.

could this cause my issue?

i have checked most things, spark plugs, all pipes connected etc, and al im left to think needs dooing is re-wire from maf to ecu. check the cat in downpipe, and wondering about the injectors??

any help? please.
