Yep they sure do.

I had it done on my old MY00. It really transformed the car into what it should be as standard IMHO.

2nd pulled like 1st, 3rd like 2nd etc etc.

Minimal change in fuel economy, plus the lower down torque made the car much more driveable.

You have to order through a dealer and cant go directly to prodrive, cost is about 2K but shop around I am sure someone will say they paid a lot less.

Cool

HKSubaru,

I'm having my MY00 done next week. I'm getting the PPP and a quick-shift. Don't make any decisions until then and I'll tell you by next weekend if I think it's worth it!

From what I've read, it seems to be the safest upgrade you can make without invalidating the warranty, etc, etc.

I'll keep you posted.

Too much, I'm probably going to have to part with just over 2K but the car has reached the stage where it needs a boost. I've had it two years and I either buy a new Subaru and take an 8K hit in depreciation on my current car, or I spend just over 2K and it changes the entire personality of the car and it brings a smile to my face again!!

I think 2K is a small price to pay to keep the warranty, etc. Just my opinion. I'm sure there will be a lot of people who disagree! My view is, I'm saving money by not buying a new car!

The thing that p*sses me off the most is the insurance quotes have been ridiculous! Thank God for Greenlight.

Make sure you get an insurance quote before you book it in!

Hold on chaps - I think you can get the MY00 PPP for about £1600 all in from Lavender Hill Garage, Enfield. You have to deliver the car yourself to Prodrive though. The contact was David Medcalf (Shark off here.) This was posted quite a while ago so I don't know if they are still doing the discount.
