I first posted this question in the wheels & tyres forum but it got no replies so I'm sticking it here!

I'd be interested in hearing from anyone who's gone from the P-Zeros to S02 PP, Goodyear Eagle F1 or Toyo T1-S tyres (on 17" wheels). What was the difference in wet & dry grip, and how did they compare on aquaplaning? Did the new tyres change the ride quality? How progressively do they let go when you push to the limits of grip & how much warning do they give? The only thing stopping me ordering some SO2s or F1s immediately is I'm worried about them letting go without much warning, and I'm a bit worried they might aquaplane more.

Also for those of you who changed tyres, who did you use to fit the tyres & did they gave good service & prices? (I'm in London)

Thanks in advance to anyone who replies.

I havent got to the point where I need to change my P-zero's - as a matter of interest, how many mles did you get out of them.........?
SO2's are pretty soft tyre compound by all accounts............

I've done 10,500 miles and the front left is 2.5mm and the rest about 3-3.5mm.

The Eagle F1s are reputed to last a lot longer than S02s, so unless there's a decent difference in performance, those are the ones I'm leaning towards at the moment. S02s seem to be popular here though!
