Std jdm doesn't have Subaru lettering but has sti logo on right and wrx badge on left, when I fitted my new bootlid I refitted sti logo and left wrx lettering off I think it looks cleaner, jdm doesn't have impreza under wrx badge either,

I always think de-badged makes the car's @rse look huge, like a Megane.

Still, if you WANT to copy a French mass-market car..........

I love the look of the smooth boot lid. Not sure about no rear wing but not lock looks awesome.

Sounds funny but the hotly pink actually is in favour. Only a real man can get away with wearing pink. And a sti Scooby is defiantly a real mans car.

I'd actually like to remove the 'oval star' badge off the boot of the RB!

Anyone know a rough cost for a body shop, to remove, fill the holes & spray the boot?

Soz for the hijack..

Made a start today. Gonna do it in stages, as you can't add once removed. Looks the nuts so far.

Going for the wrx badge next. Think the impreza badge may look quite decent on its own on that side.

For a blue car I think JDM is the way to go , but with the black , I think the full de-badge gives it a more menacing look.

You inspired me a lot with your original post and today I decided to buy a DA Polisher, what better way to celebrate my new purchase . . . . .

Wow. You have done the same as mine. I left the impreza and sti only. Think it looks the doggs. Got it finished this evening. Try and get pics up tomorrow.

Mate, it was a real nightmare. I used the mrs hair dryer to hear the badges and glue up. Came off alright to start with. Used so many different products to get the excess off. Well worth the effort and time. Didn't think it was ever gonna come off. You know when you wish you hadn't started something?
