Default F'ing Tesco Car Park

Hi All,

Well after 2 months of messing about with insurance companies (premium numbers of course) they have given me a no time scale answer and sick of driving round in dented car.

It could be worse as just one panel dented where a woman kindly reversed straight into my stationary scooby, not a happy man as you can imagine...

Got some pull out denty things which seem to be doing nothing, how easy is it to get the rear driver side door panel off (1999 classic) to try and push them out ?

All the best,

Jeff

The mobile dent men are fantastic. A pal recently had a guy out from Ipswich who did an amazing job. Four panels and nearly a whole day for £200.

Cheers, I will check this out as sounds reasonable and I would probably just make it worse...

If you DO want to have a go, removal of doorcard is easy.

Prize up window switch from front edge, disconnect wiring and remove. Undo the screw that lives under there, and one under a cover.

Carefully prise out doorcard from bottom front and pull away from clips, working front to rear.

Once it it free, lift and away it comes.

DO NOT touch the large screw inside the door HANDLE.

All the best,

Parking in places like Tesco puts the risk of door dings way up and damage from cars reversing out of the line opposite is not uncommon. A blatent example of that was when the wife and I went to a Centre Parcs in Norfolk where all the idiots who own bikes seem to go! A poor sod found his Audi in the car park with big dents in the tailgate. It was obvious the moron in the line opposite forgot he/she had a stupid bike rack strapped to the back and simply reversed out as if they were in Tesco!

I try not to go the supermarkets in my car, the spaces are too tight and people seem to not mind scrubbing bumpers !

A few years ago, with a non scooby, our lass needed something to complete the sunday dinner, so i quickly popped to Asda for 1 item only, rushed in and out, walked back to my car and some kind person had reversed out the aisle opposite straight in to my rear bumper and drove off ! No contact number or owt ! Sods law or what. I know how you feel mate
