Default Help please !!

i have a 2.0 sport classic facelift and it has been parked up for over a month with handbrake on , however when i tried driving it the today it seemed like the car was slowing down without me doing anything. to then realize when i parked up wit the handrake off the car wont budge!. i know cos its been parked up for so long with the handbrake might of ceased or stuck , but whats the best way to sort this out or lubricate ..i have rear drums so im not to sure what to do after taking the drum off ?? any help would be appreciated

You could try removing the rear wheels and hitting the drums with a hammer, that often releases the shoes. Other than that you have to wind the shoes back, remove the drum and lubricate the linkage if it's the linkage that's seized.

Hopefully the first suggestion works because it's quicker and easier than the 2nd one

As above fella, the chances of removing the drums whilst the handbrake's on are slim to none anyway,
Jack up,
Remove wheel,
Tw@ with hammer.
Handbrake off

Yeah it sounds like either the piston is seized or the slider on the front calipers. 2 pots from early turbo cars bolt straight on with discs and they are significantly bigger
