I wouldn't dream of putting normal unleaded in my car.
No VPower = NO driving for me.

I've got a stock of octane booster and I've also got a NUL 95 map to use in emergencies. Just need to work out how to use diesel now.

It's deff silly times out there at the mo
I just did an Internet search on my smart phone for shell garages in my city ( Newcastle ) started ringing the garages 1 by 1 .
Found some on the 5th attempt , bit ov a drive but got sorted in the end ,
I know some ov u guys use your scoobs as daily drives , but don't risk the cheap fuel unless u have a strong safe map / .... The government & the jerry can freaks spilling fuel all over the forecourts

No chance. I would rather cycle or catch the bus then hurt my engine with low octane fuel.

you wont break your car using 95 ron even if mapped for 99, just stay of boost, although id personally throw in some octane booster and still stay of boost for extra safeness.

Yep off boost will be fine on 95 ron, i normally run on a 16% meth/vpower mix but didn't have any meth in the boot when i needed to fill up today, will get some in it tomorrow, i highly recommend meth to anyone with switchable maps... You can't really go wrong with the power gains vs £££

They have V power at my local.
There's no strike as yet so use your other car, keep your eyes open and they'll have more soon.
If you get desperate I've got a tank full in mine which is currently on stands.
£10 a litre
p.s. Why does everyone mentioning the government? They're not the ones out buying fuel they don't need in case of a strike that "might" happen.
If they told you to jump off a bridge....

People mention the government mr m monkey because they released a statement saying to go out and buy fuel
Which then changed to only if you've got less that half a tank.
Hope that explains it to ya pal

I`m not risking it either. On my 6 days off now so not worried about using the car until some V Power arrives.
