Default best mudflaps for 98 type r?

hi im looking at getting a good set of mudflaps for my type r,would want black in colour with white sti logo, dont want anything massive, but would like something to help protect the paint and gives the car that special rally look, any pics of classics with mudflaps would be appriciated, ive looked at scoobyworld ones which seem ok,but also read a few negative things on them,so any advice would be great, thanks as always.

hello bud, i was in this situation with wanting some on my newage sti.
i didnt want the big ones so went for these universal carbon fibre ones from CARBON MODZ for 4 for £48, i added the sti stickers off ebay to make them blend with the details on the car so you could get them in white instead.
they do aim these at subarus and if you look on the website there sample pics are them fitted to classics.
hope these give you another options for mud flaps.
cheers chris

i had some on my old car, didnt last long, not very good quality, the fittings that hold the bracket to the flap are not strong enough, and i also think the flaps are a little on the small side.

They look similar but both sets of flaps are made from different materials.

scoobyworld ones are made from poly vinyl chloride, milsport ones are Kaylan.

I don't know if its worth the extra cost over cheaper ones.

Just to clarify - our Premium sets use Kaylan material, stainless brackets and genuine Subaru clip nuts - £119.99, our standard sets are the same brackets and fixings but PVC flaps.

Kaylan material is stiffer, that's the only difference between the two products.
