Do you think you are quick on track?

Then go to a MLR Track Day.
To be fair a lot of the cars were trailered in - but there were some seriously quick machines present - such as a 586bhp Evo, several over 400, big power Skylines - although didn't see the latter on the track.
So if you think you are quick on a SIDC day - then you need to come along to one of these days to find out what it is like at the next level.
Overall a brilliant and humbling experience - superb cars, some very serious people - although at least one Evo refused to let a Scoob past - or the superb Integrale for that matter - he was videoing and so it would have ruined it for his mates in the pub to have a Scoob flying past him!
Thanks to Darin and MLR for letting us Scoobs come along.
Commiserations to the Scoob in his first track day - Quarry, sudden downpour - don't need to say more, except that the driver remains thankfully fighting fit.

You guys are welcome to our trackdays, it was a great day and even the rain was a bit of fun.Although on road legal slicks it got a bit lively
Look forward to seeing you all at the Rally Day.

Kevin,
hi I saw you there - I had road tyres on by the time the rain came - Quarry was a bit 'glassy' for a while in the wet - even with S03s!
Fantastic range of cars - interesting to see that no response from the Scooby posse
Trout - mmmm - where do I get another 50bhp I know

As the sole worldwide Scooby rep at Brands Hatch on Thursday I must agree with you Trout - very much my feelings!
Some very serious people there with trailers, crew, spare car etc.
Mostly Caterhams present, but I was able to get past a few! And thanks to one great friendly Caterham driver's tuition I eventually got it down to 54" on the Indy circuit.
As you say a very different experience to Scooby track days and I now need new disks and have shredded anti roll bar mounting bushes - well I had to keep the side up

hello Trout,
I was the blue scooby that ended up backwards in the tyre wall. DOH!! Anyway had a good larf before that, looking like the car is a write off cause it may of bent the chassis.
Had a bit of a sore neck for the last couple of days but hey that the price of fun.
Will be back with ny new car asap hopefully not going backwards into any corners next time at 80mph.
What were you driving trout?? The only other scoobys were a 380bhp grey one, a blue P1 and a red one. Were any of these you??
Neil.
