I've bought some parts from them, excellent company to deal - they beat a lot of UK suppliers for delivery speed.

Just be careful of customs clearance/handling charges plus VAT as well, I nearly ordered a set of BBS wheels they had on clearance as even with the £300 carriage charges they were still a bargain until I factored in the VAT and customs charges.

Got to be honest I'm a little confused by the shipping forms(to door,to airport,to seaport etc)and what happens once it reaches the UK.

You can email them as well, the above is to do with the shipping type plus your closest airport etc so they can give you an accurate shipping cost.

I always add the import charges to the price before I buy anything from them (10% import duty, 20% VAT) and if you get away with it it's a bonus

+1

Bought some JDM badges for the car, Parcelfarce impounded the parcel and charged me VAT + import duty.

Sorry for the questions but it's over £300 so I want to make sure I fill in all the forms correctly.

So I click on To door YES/NO

I'm after a STi front spoiler

I know that there are cheaper options.

I've asked someone local to me who imports car's from Japan but....just seems like he can't give me a answer and it's been nearly a week and for a big name like him it's a little disappointing

Would agree.

Japanparts or AVOjdm are very helpful and efficient - as you would expect.

What did you expect - VAT payable on goods plus postage unless VAT calculated at less than £8.00

If VAT payable add Parcelfarce Admin charge of £13.50 so they can collect it on behalf of HMRC

Additional Import duty payable on items over approx £130

If large items sent by FEDEX, then expect an invoice in the post for the HMRC and Admin charges after delivery.

I think that's the V Limited spoiler, the replica that HT Autos do is good quality and will cost a third of the price.

I know it's nice to have the genuine as my car did have a while ago, but I know what I'd be buying.

And yes 'To Door' is what you want, if in any doubt just email them as they're very helpful.
