It doesn't matter, bass is none directional so it won't make a difference.

Mine is in the spare wheel well, i like a full size spare, so just made a false floor with mdf and raise it slightly to accommodate my spare wheel, which has the benefit of being able to get a 12" sub in there as well.

And you don't need 2 x 12" just one good quality as well as a decent bridgable amp and obviously a good head unit, leads, speaker wire and connectors.

I have an old alpine head unit, from when they used to be the best by a long way, kenwood 600w amp and sub, DSL reference mids in the rear doors, and MB quartz dual cone and tweeters up front.

More than enough to cause tinatus, but i rarely turn it up, i just like a quality sound that has full range.

Both my scoobs have active 12'' enclosure's. Does the job of filling the sound out so the bass can be turned down on the mids.

depends on the setup or sub box used in the car! if you have subs that have bass tubes in the back of there box. u can open up the middle arm rest in the back seats for a better bass flow though out the car.

putting the subs looking at the seats will give a flatter sound, it will be louder with less bass.
