Default where is yourr rev needle set to?

As above really. Been trying to work out how besst to use this function on my 56 Sti - not really messed to much with it. Mine is currently at the max just under the redline bit of the rev counter...

Is there a purpose to the function and any benefits to having it at a certain setting?

Cheers guys
