Angry mice in the boot!

I,ve got a really annoying squeeking noise coming from the rear end of my hawkeye wagon. Sounds like dry suspension bushes but i,ve given everything a good soaking with silicone spray, lubed the tailgate hinges, siliconed the tailgate body seal and bumper stops and exhaust hanger rubbers and anti roll bar bushes. It,s driving me mental to the point where i just keep the radio on! My last resort is to strip the boot out of all the polystyrene type storage area. This seems quite extreme and i only want to do this if i have to. Please......anyone had this trouble...let me know.
PS. no strut brace fitted, could this be actual chassis/bodywork movement?

I feel your pain mate.
I've got a loud vibration noise coming from the rear when coming off the accelerator in high gears. I've tried everything, even drove around with a mate in the boot to see if we could work out where it's coming from. Removed everything that can be removed from inside the boot and even under the car and still no joy.
Now learnt to live with it, lol.

Far fetch but could a stone have flicked up into the wheel well and be bouncing about?

Trim panels quite often squeak, jack as above is a good one, or try the parcel shelf or spare wheel (tyre on metal)!

When I had a recent knocking noise in the boot I resorted to lying in it with a torch while the wife took me for a drive, not the most comfortable but managed to locate and fix!
