Kumho KU 39`s; Anyone used them?
I`ve had KU 39`s recommended by my local fitter, £ 78 fitted and balanced for my stage 1 MY05 wagon. Any thoughts ? I was looking at Goodyear eagles as 2`s but they are £ 118. Cheers. Posted here as I need to get them today, and need quick advice.

I've heard good things about the kumho's coming out of Japan. A local specialist also recommended them. Depends on your budget, if you can afford them then the goodyears are certainly a great tyre, had them on my blobeye when I first bought it. Only reason I never replaced them was the cost mainly, saying that I've ended up with falken 452's which are a very good tyre also but slightly cheaper.

Kumho KU-36 we are tried, but they have stiff sidewall and really at damp road are not the best or when is outside rainy
Falken FK452 we are tried and they're OK,much better than Kumho at this price range. We are now running Vredstein Sessanta and they're just amazing on road or wet, just little bit struggling on track, great tyres too on the drag strip too(we are managed with Vreds 12.1 on Santa Pod)

Have been fitting Kumho's to the wifes 4x4's (RAV4 & then Lexus RX) for years - never had any problems, great value & quality and excellent wear rate.
If you are looking at goodyear try the Eagle F1 Assymetric, I fitted these to my WRX, done approx 18k miles in them, loads of grip and they are only about a 1/3 worn

No Vreds at Camskill at 215 45 17, only 215 40 17. Going off KU 39`s after looking at reviews. Falkens seem to be a bit Marmite; some love them, some say never again. Currently on Bridgestone RE 050`s which are great apart from price, and I need all 4 done. Hmmmm. Thanks for advice, Guys; always good on SN
