What's the best defi"s to get. I have a wrx hawkeye ?

 

"Best" in what way?
To match your dash, or to take relevant readings?

If it's the latter, Boost, Oil Pressure and Oil Temperature are the most poular, with fuel pressure, water temperature, (it's more accurate than the one fitted) and exhaust gas temperature being next.

How many do you want, and are you aware of the prices?

Also, be aware that with some you NEED a separate control box.

You really need the older kit, they light up green. I will post up some old photos

I'm going to get boost. oil pressure and oil temp. I no I need a control box but is there any different pros or cons to the bf or cr series.

 

No pro`s or cons to either really but it might depend on which colour you want,They all do pretty much the same job. You will need the Link controller and sensors as well as just the gauges and cables.

The Defi CF(Stepmaster) with green illumination, Available with black or white gauge face,

The BF(Black Face when off) available with Amber, Blue & White illumination

There also Defi Genome gauges(Black gauge face only) with green illumination tha have the Sti too but these are hard to get hold of and tend to be around the £600+ price tag if your lucky

 

Have you looked at the Defi site? It gives you an overview, tells you what works with what, what needs what to work, what you get with each gauge and what colour they light up.

For many people, the last is the most important.

It's one reason I bought Defis, they almost perfectly mimic the dash in the classic 97-00 Scoobs.
